Greeting Everyone,

I have an announcement of the Ronald E. McNair Area String Orchestra.

The James Brown Family Children's Foundation, a 501 c, 3 non-profit organization will be holding its 4th annual, "Get On the Good Foot" Charity Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the August Commons across form the James Brown statue (Augusta, GA).  Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the Walk begins at 9:00 AM.  Special guest will be Kathy Sledge of the late 70s disco group, Sister Sledge.  

Also, from Atlanta, the Ronald E. McNair Area String Orchestra will be performing.  It is under the direction of 30-year veteran teacher of the Dekalb County School System, David E. Robinson III.  This area consists of the elementary schools of R.E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy, Meadowview, Kelley Lake, and Flat Shoals.  Also joining them will be Wadsworth Elementary where Robert Coln teaches.
