Our annual meeting is an occasion to share the cultural and historical contributions by people of African descent. Attendees from across the nation and around the world will convene to explore the 2013 National Black History theme: "At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation and the March on Washington."
With more than 100 panels featuring prominent figures in Black cultural studies, as well as scholars and students from all disciplines and ages, the ASALH Convention presents an optimal opportunity for you to present your research and current projects, as well as learn about some of the other leading projects in the field of African American History.
We hope that you can participate. We are waiting to hear from you.
