Ø $50 Poems of the World Award for a "spring" haiku
Ø $50 Poems of the World Award for a "summer" haiku
Ø $25 Gwendolyn Brooks Award for a CPS student
At our 9th Annual Awards Program, we will present a $100 prize for the top poem, $50 for a "spring" haiku, $50 for a "summer" haiku, $25 for the Gwendolyn Brooks Award, $20 for the Founders Award, one Teacher-of-the-year award, one School-of-the-Year award, an award for the top poem from each School, etc.
Mark your calendars with the following dates; and remember winners must read their poems at the awards program to claim their prizes. FYI, a memo is attached.
